If you are in the hiring or promotional process with a fire department and want to beat out your competition, then I have something special for you today. But first let me ask you this — have you ever wondered why some people seem to easily get hired or promoted right away and others just struggle?
I spent the first 18 months pursuing a career in the fire service working 3 part-time jobs after having left a well-paid career in "Corporate America". I interviewed with no less than 12 departments around Florida and questioned every minute of my “decision” to leave my former career in the business world and chase down what seemed like a distant dream.
But everything changed in those last 6 months: I invested in a career coach, mastered the fire department interview and landed a job with a fire department of my dreams. Throughout my career I have never stopped learning. I am a career student of the fire service. In doing so, I have also mastered the promotional process along the way and I want to help YOU!
My company has been based on referrals from the year we started (2012) for one reason only: Personal Attention. I believe in giving you the personal attention you deserve. I challenge you to find anyone else in this industry that will give you this guarantee.
Read the testimonies on this page. Email me directly if you would like to speak with a candidate I have helped, and I will put you in touch with a real "success story."
I look forward to working with you soon! - Captain Mark J. Rossi, MBA, AFO, & Founding CEO
"First and foremost I cannot speak highly enough of Mark Rossi and his program. I was testing for a District Chiefs position. I hired Mark Rossi to help with my resume and interview prep. I was completely blown away. He not only helped me with my resume, but the preparation for the interview was unparalleled. His program prepared me with potential interview questions, tips and techniques on speaking, posture and mannerisms during the interview process. I walked in confident and crushed my interview, not to mention I received my promotion. I promise you will not be disappointed. It was well worth the cost and then some. I cannot thank Mark Rossi enough. Please do yourself a favor and contact him today for all of your promotional preparation needs. Thanks again Rossi!"
District Chief Nate Sturm
"I would like to share my recent experience taking a promotional test. I have been acting in the role of battalion chief for several years. I feel like I have a good balance of experience. I applied for a battalion chief position and the first phase in the hiring process was a phone call interview. I did my own preparation and answered the 10 questions that were asked to the best of my ability. The top five candidates move on to the in person role-play and incident command scenario phase. I was notified that I was number six and not moving on. The following week I was notified that one candidate was removed from the process and I was invited into the top five. This is when I realized I needed to step up my preparation and I used Rockstar Training to assist me in the promotional process. Captain Rossi provided so many valuable nuggets that helped me improve my performance in incident command, Company Officer meeting role-play as well as improving my answers to specific interview questions. At the completion of the in-person phase, I am proud to announce that I was ranked as overall number one. I was offered the Battalion Chief position that I was seeking. Only one person was chosen for that promotion and it was me thanks to the education and experiences I received from Captain Rossi & Rockstar Training. " - Battalion Chief Jeremy R.
"I HIGHLY recommend you reach out to Captain Rossi if you or anyone you know will benefit from his great service and knowledge. He is a rock star at what he does, and it has been an honor knowing him yet what he's done for my career. I promise you 100%!" -- Frank Z., Boynton Beach FD
"Thank you Captain Rossi!! When it comes to setting yourself up for a career in the fire service, the most important aspect is preparation. With all of the hard work it takes to even receive an opportunity to be able to interview with a professional fire department, the candidate interview is your opportunity to showcase yourself and inform departments why you are the best candidate for the job. Captain Rossi’s interview prep sessions IS THE PREPARATION NECESSARY TO GET HIRED. After my experience, there’s no doubt in my mind that anybody truly serious about having a career in the fire service should be taking advantage of the opportunity Captain Rossi provides through years of knowledge when it comes to the process of the firefighter candidate interview, teaching effective communication skills, as well as his ability to help anyone reach their potential when it comes to best showcasing yourself during your interview.
